| Swimming Hole |
Every so often, we get bored. So we are off to the swimming hole. From Karuizawa we would ride our bicycles towards Lake New Town. Pass the Gajoen Golf course and turn onto a dirt path that leads us to rice paddies alongside a small brook. As we push our bicycles along the path, it gives way to a wider river, and finally to a small irrigation dam. From there we hike thru the marshes, until we reach the swimming hole. Here we pose for a picture.
