Our new home is surrounded by the Catskill Mountain range, gentle rolling hills, valleys and farms, this home sits atop a hill 1,300 feet above sea level. Just outside the town of Hillsdale, and located in Columbia County, NY. On October 11th 2013, closing took place in the town of Hudson, NY. By 11:30 am, key in hand, we started the process of getting settled in.

From the back deck, the bedrooms, kitchen, sun room, the view of the Catskill Mountain range commands this view facing west. We look forward to the beautiful sunsets, the snowy winter views, and the plush greens of the spring & summer season.
The property stretches westward downhill whereby it gives to a small brook, forests of white birch trees, pines and Norway Spruces. Midway down, I captured this shot. Showing here is the back of the home.
A different perspective and season. From the end of summer to early part of winter. The back deck offers a commanding view of the valley and mountains. Bare trees, leaves down, a heightened wind velocity, bright blue sky all makes for very cold, crisp winter months.
