My 4th birthday. Here my brother and myself pose for a sibling portrait. Before the little kids arrive and play "Cowboys and Indians" we prepare our tiny backyrard for the big event. Our home was nestled in the of Shinjuku neighborhood at the end of a dead end street. Stairs lead down to a narrow street below. Across was a Shinto shrine which we called "Ginja"
