My First Home

In 1986, I purchased my first home. Located on Long Island, at the northern tip of the Great Neck Peninsula sits several villages, neighborhoods, amongst those; Harbor Hills.  A small quiet communit of 192 homes, some peering over Long Island Sound that gives to a panoramic view of Manhattan Island.

October 25th, after closing at the lawyers' offices, key in pocket, I drove from Manhattan to Great Neck to take posession of my home. Pictured here is the first photo of the home,taken on a  late, chilly October afternoon. This brick colonial sits atop a hill on Crosswood Rd. in the Harbor Hills neighborhood of Great Neck.  A new life begins, with many cherished memories, events, happiness and challenges too.

Pictured hereunder is the backyard, detached garage. Many events, families, friends, kids all gathered to play basketball, barbecue, trampoline, hang out. Lots of laughter, birthday parties, and many happy memories. We lived here from 1986 thru 2003.

Many Saturday afternoons, surrounded by friends over lunch and refreshments. Herewith is a photo of the dinning room off of our family and onto the backyard.
