The majestic weather and climate of the Berkshires in early summer is magical ! Day trippers and weekenders flock to this Mountain range spanning over the borders of western Massachusetts and eastern New York state. With many good eateries, sights to be visited; Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum, Historic Lennox, myriad of activities, we spend a weekend with family & friends.
Clouds Dance over the Valley
Massive Mountain
The morning brings about birds chirping, deer wandering the property, wild turkey looking to eat. While looking out over the back deck with a hot mug of coffee, the clouds come up over the valley.
By mid morning we go for a long and brisk walk down Breezyhill RD. which leads to open fields with a tall massive mountain in the backdrop, lush greens, bright sun, cool breeze. We find ourselves having walked 4 miles down. We huff and puff climbing back up 4 miles before reaching home.
In the afternoon, we go to Lennox Mass. Horseback riding through the woods; a peaceful and lazy trail through the forest.
Riding Nacho
This kind gentle horse is called "Nacho" with a gentle and kind disposition, obedient and affectionate. Riding the trails, Nacho maneuvers the tricky inclines, and narrow passages By the time the ride ends, Nacho buries is head under my arm and would not move before I could lead him back to his stall. Before the summer is out, will be going back to ride with Nacho and bond once again.
